The Goulburn Fizzy Reds competition is only weeks away, and it’s time to start registering.

Registration fees this year are:

• U6: $70
• U8: $70
• U10: $100
• U12: $100
• Coaches, managers & volunteers: free

The Rugby Xplorer system accepts Active Kids vouchers. With regards to ages, if the registering child has turned or is turning:

• 5 or 6 in 2022, they are eligible for U6s
• 7 or 8 in 2022, they are eligible for U8s
• 9 or 10 in 2022, they are eligible for U10s
• 11 or 12 in 2022, they are eligible for U12s

Registration fees go towards the costs of running the competition, including ground use, referees, the supply of socks and shorts (that you get to keep) and footy jumpers (that you have to return).

The competition takes place entirely at Carr Confoy Oval on Friday nights. Training and team allocations start at 5.30 pm on Thursday 12 May, with the competition starting on Friday 27 May. Draws and field allocations will be supplied.

HOW TO REGISTER – JUNIORS:

(1) You can download the “Rugby Xplorer” app and follow the links to find your email or My Rugby number… or set up a new registration if you haven’t played before; OR You can go to myaccount.rugby.com.au and follow the links there to log in.

(2) Select: PLAY RUGBY. 

(3) Select FIND A CLUB: If you have had a previous registration on Rugby Xplorer, select your name, otherwise create new account.

(4) Enter CLUB NAME: Goulburn Junior Rugby Club (DON’T select Goulburn Rugby Club)

(5) Select ROLE: Player (Or Coach, Or Manager, or Volunteer). Fizzy Reds coaches, managers and volunteers need to register in the Goulburn junior Rugby Club… and it’s free.

(6) Select REGISTRATION TYPE:

• XVs Juniors ACT Country for Players
• XVs Juniors for Coaches, Managers and Volunteers

(7) Select DURATION: Season

As always, we will need parents to assist with coaching, managing and running the canteen, and members of the senior club will assist with that.

So get registered! Make Fizzy Reds Footy your Friday night family thing (but make sure you bring jumpers, jackets and so on).
