Another round, another forfeit.

Only the Women’s Team and the second grade Men got to play on Sponsors Day thanks to a last-minute forfeit from Wests. Wests were always a good chance of forfeiting in reserve grade, but instead added a surprise twist by forfeiting the higher grade instead. Gotta say, that’s novel. Technically that means it was a hat-trick of home wins although playing three games would have been better.

Next weekend all senior teams are out of the action with the women playing a midweek game against ADFA on the following Thursday night (14 July).

The Fizzy Reds were cancelled on Friday night due to poor weather, the state of Carr Confoy grounds and a bunch of sick kids. They will be off now for the two weeks of the school holidays, recommencing on Friday 22 July.
